Book One - Deadman longs for the things he enjoyed when he was alive and when he comes across an article in a tabloid about a haunted old circus and the ghost of a young acrobat who mysteriously died there, he decides to investigate.

Book Two - Deadman learns that the ruler of this ghostly circus, Brazia, lives in the old steam engine on the property and with help from the tormented freaks who are trapped here, is able to destroy the train and the Colby House, finally freeing all the lost souls, including his beloved, Ann.

Deadman ( Boston Brand ) is a fictional character, a comic book superhero in the DC Comics universe. He first appeared in Strange Adventures #205 (October 1967), and was created by Arnold Drake and Carmine Infantino.
